Purpose of this Site
This site provides general information about the Diocese, its parishes, clergy, institutions and activities. It is currently under construction and its content is added and revised on an ongoing basis. While every reasonable effort is made to keep information accurate and up to date, the Diocese gives no warranty as to its completeness or accuracy and accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it. For matters requiring certainty (e.g. sacramental records, safeguarding concerns, or official correspondence), please contact the Diocesan Office directly rather than relying solely on this website.

Copyright — Scripture Texts
The daily Mass readings shown under Worship > Readings of Today and the Liturgical Calendar are drawn from three Bible translations, offered in the toggled views:
English — text is taken from the World English Bible (WEB), a modern-English translation placed in the public domain by its publisher, Rainbow Missions, Inc. No copyright is claimed over it and it may be freely copied.
ChiChewa — text is adapted from Chichewa Chalero, © 2016 Biblica, Inc., used and reproduced here under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY–SA 4.0): https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/. "Biblica®" is a trademark registered in the United States Patent and Trademark Office by Biblica, Inc., and use of this trademark requires the written permission of Biblica, Inc. This translation does not include the deuterocanonical books, so a small number of readings are not yet available in ChiChewa.
Traditional English — text is taken from the Douay–Rheims Bible (1899 American Edition, incorporating Bishop Challoner's revisions), which is in the public domain.
These texts are reproduced for private study and devotional reference only. They are not the Church's approved liturgical translation and must not be used in place of the official Lectionary at Mass or other liturgical celebrations.

Cookies
No cookies are set for general browsing of this site. Own-site cookies are used only when staff, a contributor, or someone in preview mode signs in to the site's own content management system: a session cookie (PHPSESSID) keeps that sign-in active. It is set by this site only, holds no personal or tracking data, and is deleted when the browser session ends. No analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used anywhere on the site. Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the content management system to function, no consent banner is shown; if you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to log in or use preview mode.
However, if you leave this website by following links to external sites, which are clearly marked as such, those sites are governed by their own cookie policies.
Webdesign
The website, including its content management system, has been built specifically for the Diocese using custom-written code, rather than relying on external platforms or third-party content management systems. This website does not transmit your data to, or load resources from, external services or servers other than those of our hosting provider, currently Hostinger.com.
